The Aoyama Duo
with Katherine Bicknell Flute
The flute and the harp is a sublime combination, with a strong impact on the eye as well as the ear, its potential has been recognized by many composers down the years, resulting in an excellent repertoire. Formed in 1998 by section principals from the Royal College of Music, the Aoyama Duo have performed at numerous prestigious venues including the National Gallery, the Tower of London and the V & A Museum.
Double Action Harp Duo
with Eleanor Turner
Keziah Thomas and Eleanor Turner present Double Action, the award winning harp duo that explores the astonishing dramatic range of the repertoire composed for this unique partnership. Recent winners of the Park Lane Group Young Artists Series 2005, the duo performed three world premieres in a critically acclaimed Purcell Room recital. These 'assured interpreters' (The Times) won third prize in the 5th International Competition for Chamber Music with Harp in Arles and released their debut album in 2005.
